At SDPC we hold numerous rallies throughout the year and they are open to all ages and abilities.

At a rally our members are put into age-related groups and work with an instructor.  At our rallies members will either work on a specified discipline e.g. show-jumping, cross country etc. or on various disciplines where several different disciplines are covered. Rallies are very social events where much valuable training can be gained and for the members lasting friendships can be made.

Our rallies are the main training method our Pony Club has and it is important to attend some throughout the year in order to gain the most experience and knowledge from our dedicated instructors. In order to be able to take part in our annual summer camp and to be considered for area team events you must have attended three rallies during the season.

You must complete a booking form for each rally and these will be sent to you via e-mail or post. You must then return your booking form to Lesley Murdoch.

Our rallies are extremely popular and it is advised to book in as soon as possible in order to ensure a place.

If for any reason you are unable to attend a rally you have booked in for, it is very important you let Lesley Murdoch know as soon as possible.

Please note: 
Anyone who arrives at a rally without pre-booking will be sent home.

Also, At the end of the each rally please ensure that any litter, droppings or bedding material is taken with you, this will minimise the clear up process for our kind volunteers.
